Enterprise SOA: Service-Oriented Architecture Best Practices

The book “Enterprise SOA” coined the term ‘SOA’. It was the first book to lift the service concept from the application architecture to the enterprise level and described the now universally accepted reference architecture for SOA. Over numerous case studies, including Winterthur Insurance, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Post World Net and Halifax Bank of Scotland, the authors documented the best practices of SOA for practitioners.

In 2007, an extended German version of this book was published (mitp-Verlag, ISBN: 978-3-8266-1729-4) with updated contents and an additional case study.
